Cinematic Connections is a free daily movie puzzle game similar to Wordle. Players connect two movies through their shared cast and crew members (actors, directors) in 7 attempts or less. A new puzzle is available every day.

How do I play Cinematic Connections?

Tap or drag actors or directors to create a chain connecting the START movie to the TARGET movie. The chain follows the pattern: Movie → Person → Movie → Person → Movie. Each person must appear in both adjacent films. You have 7 attempts to solve the puzzle.

When does the puzzle reset?

A new puzzle is available every day at midnight local time. You can also play past puzzles in the Archive without affecting your statistics.

Is Cinematic Connections free?

Yes, Cinematic Connections is completely free to play. No account required, no ads, no in-app purchases. Your progress is saved locally in your browser.
